Wall and Ivy
The wall is in a tiny lane near Milltown and was lit by the early evening sunlight.
The horizontal lines of the stone and their texture make a contrast to the glossy Ivy leaves.
I also see the hand of man in the lines and the seemingly riotous jumble of the Ivy.
From my SoFoBoMo project.

Discarded gate
Replaced by metal gates this double wooden gate has been left propped up against a nearby wall.
It may be useful in the future to mend a fence or to make a smaller gate.
A dull mostly overcast evening by Lea, it rained on the way back.
From my SoFoBoMo project.

Fallen Tree
At the bottom od an old quarry face lies this broken tree, it look as though it fell from the top of the face as the surface eroded away.
From my Rock and Walls project

Weir on the River Amber
Cut stone has been used to make this little weir at a spot just before Milltown.
Perhaps to slow the flow down before it flowed into a mill race and pond.
From my Rock and Walls Project
